Crash Bandicot 1 (N-Sane Trilogy) - Boss 6: Dr. Neo Cortex & Normal Ending
18"Darn you, Crash Bandicoot!"
So this is it, the final battle against Cortex on top of his blimp. It actually feels a bit harder than on PS1. His energy blasts have a bigger hitboxs than the blasts themselves look, and I had to repeat this fight multiple times because of it.
Remember, dodge all of Cortex's blue and pink shots, and spin the green ones. A single spin of one will either have it immediately hit Cortex, or they will be shots that will form together to create a bigger shot that then hits Cortex. The damage remains the same nonetheless, though.

When you do beat Cortex, his little surf ship there explodes and he plummets back down to his own island. If you listen very closely, you'll even hear a thud...
Crash finally gets to reunite with his girlfriend, Tawna. In the N-Sane Trilogy, Tawna picks him up can gives Crash a big hug, then Crash FINALLY lets out a "Yee-Haw" after never doing so after beating a boss in this remaster for some reason. With both bandicoots closely side-to-side, they ride their blimp into the sunset to live happily ever after...

Although this is the ending, there's still more to do, and more Gems to collect. If I can get them all, I can then use them to lead into an Alternate Ending involving Crash and Tawna. So let's get right to that, then!
