While the reveal for Crash Team Rumble, the new Crash Bandicoot competitive multiplayer game previously referred to as Crash Bandicoot Wumpa League or Project Lava was only revealed yesterday during The Game Awards 2022 we are already starting to get brand new gameplay details and information about the Crash Team Rumble / CTR.

In a recent press release about Crash Team Rumble via Activision we have had the confirmation that yes Crash Team Rumble will indeed feature cross platform play, so PlayStation users can play with Xbox user. And on top of that a series of new Crash Team Rumble screenshots have been released perhaps giving us a look at customisable character skins and customisable emotes in Crash Team Rumble, a better look at new Crash Bandicoot character Catbat and a clue as to what the relic collectibles seen in the Crash Team Rumble trailer maybe for.

Finally Toys For Bob's Studio Co-Head Paul Yan put out a statement about Crash Team Rumble confirming that the game will be easy to pick up for new players who just want to jump in but will have a skill gap for those that want to master different characters and their abilities.

Crash Team Rumble is a new 4v4 team based competitive multiplayer PvP Crash Bandicoot game previously referred to as Wumpa League, where iconic heroes and villains from the Crash Bandicoot universe battle to capture more Wumpa Fruit that the other team to claim victory and win the game. Each Hero/Crash Bandicoot Character has unique skills and abilities that players must strategically use to work together, battle the opposing team, defend their own Wumpa bank and capture key points around the map to secure the win.

In Crash Team Rumble players will be able to play as a number of familiar and new Crash Bandicoot characters like Crash, Neo Cortex, N. Brio Dingodile and more. Plus battle and compete across a wide and wild variety of different arenas. Crash Team Rumble releases in 2023 on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S.
