First I'd like to say that I was not trying to kill him in just one life. This video is to demonstrate how to kill him if you can't seem to the regular single player way, and do not want to play online co-op. This is a great way to get through the fight without cussing everything in the world as well.

Why not play online co-op? more loot for your characters, and not everyone enjoys playing online. I would much rather play by myself personally.

Why do this instead of trying for just single player mode? The more players you have the tougher the enemies. The tougher the enemies the better the loot. It says it right on the loading screens.

Why does this work? This works, because as long as there is one character up there with him his health will not regenerate when you die.

This takes a Siren as a secondary character and whatever you want your main character to be.

Try to have your main character as high a level as possible. 59-60 should be the lowest level to attempt. It's also great for getting that final level.

Try to have your Siren at least at level 33. She seems to be able to sustain an acid attack just enough to survive at that level. Just make sure to enter phasewalk anytime you are attacked. Also, turn off elemental damage on phasewalks while doing this. It draws a lot more attention if you have elemental phasewalks.

You need to have a good accurate repeating weapon with a lot of power, as well as a static weapon, a fire weapon, and an acid weapon.

I chose the repeating sniper rifle, the Orion sniper rifle for static. a high powered and fast pestilent defiler revolver, and an incendiary machine pistol. Caustic, static, and incendiary Thantos machine pistols repeaters are great as well if you use a gunslinger mod with a hunter.

The annotations in the video will explain what is going on and everything else though..

UPDATE:
This battle is started this way because the Siren I was using didn't have maximum phasewalk duration. If your Siren has maximum phasewalk duration you can send her up by herself before even taking your main character up there. Just enter phasewalk as soon as you get off the elevator and head to the spot and duck. If you have a high level siren you can use just her to take out Crawmerax from that spot. I've tried running to it with other characters but can never make it before he sees me. That's why I suggest using her to get there and hide for you. -
