I know many people will be asking how, or why so here it is... so I played around with the corner and edge caps making sure I had a game plan going in, the edge caps however needed to be taken out with the assistance of a thin screwdriver, once all the caps were removed I scrubbed them all down so that the paint would be able to stick onto the plastic, then just spray painted the caps
As for why, Gans shadings were too bright making it hard for people with color visualization disabilities like me hard to tell colors appart, and because if this my pink and gray color blindness kicked in worse than ever whenever I would solve making my solves terrible, so I knew it was up to me to fix this problem, and therefore I ended up going through all this trouble
