Creating a wrist weight friendly level in Powerbeats VR to Tone up
In the VR tone up challenge, I am designing a level that is suitable for wearing wrist weights, as demonstrated in this video. While this is an experimental project, I am optimistic about achieving positive outcomes. Due to long and awkward pauses and the need for precise timing, I had to edit out some parts of the video.
In this video I also use The Devaso Extension Grips as a staff and added more weights to it as well. I tested this level out with and without it and so far it works well both ways. I also used ankle weights but other than slightly moving side to side they were not really needed. All wrist weights used are 2.5 lbs
I intend to apply this concept to other games in the future. Initially, I chose PowerbeatsVR as it allows real-time actions, but I had to trim the level since it became too lengthy. In the video I'm using my Meta Quest Pro to build this level on the PC version of the game, but you can also do this on the original Oculus Quest, Meta Quest 2 versions of the game.
I'm not sure if I should ever provide levels I create for download even if some are not copyrighted. I might do this in the future but not sure how some of these artists feel about distribution of these songs or if I'm allowed to do so.
