ARK Survival Evolved

ARK PC Patch v278 was released recently which introduced the long awaited Creative Mode! You can now craft items for creative building in an instant!

Creative Mode has been released on PC Steam and is due to be released on Xbox One, PS4 and Windows 10 around 20th February. This video covers everything you need to know about ARK's Creative Mode, including how to active and disable the mode, what it provides you and what you can do with it.

Enable Creative Mode
To enable creative mode, log in to your game, whether it be single player or on a private server. Enter the following cheat commands depending on what you want to do:

cheat gcm = This will enable creative mode for your survivor and your survivor only.

cheat givecreativemodetotarget = This will enable creative mode for the survivor that you are looking at. They need to be in the middle of the screen right in front of you.

cheat gcmp = This will enable creative mode for another player on the server, but they do not need to be in front of you. Just add their Player ID at the end of the command and it will enable Creative Mode for them.

To disable Creative Mode simply log off and log back on. No server restart is required. There is no server wide activation for Creative Mode.
