Pokemon Alpha Sapphire is a 3ds remake of the Gameboy Advance title Pokemon Sapphire. Pokemon Alpha Sapphire uses the same game system as Pokemon X or Pokemon Y and belongs within the sixth generation of Pokemon games. The gameplay is a Role Playing Game (RPG) focused on building a party of Pokemon, or Pocket Monsters, that you catch and train to fight against other trainers. It is a turn based game where each Pokemon only has 4 available moves. The main goal of this game is to acquire all eight gym badges and defeat the elite four to become the Pokemon Champion of the Hoenn Region.

Theater 8 is recorded in OBS Studio using either the Elgato HD or the Elgato HD Pro. The silhouettes are recorded using a Logitech 920c web camera. All games are captured from the original game console with the exception of NES games captured with the AVS game system made by RetroUSB. Audio was recorded with a Rode Procaster and Shure SM48. All recordings were not held in front of a live studio audience.

#SPOILERS BELOW - Pokemon Alpha Sapphire Gameplay Notes#
Let's play Pokemon Alpha Sapphire! After leaving the Fiery Path, we enter Route 112 where Matt fights Street Thug Jaylin who gives Matt a hard time with his Mightyena who's swagger confuses most of his Pokemon. Matt is upset about the fact that we still only have regular Potions. Once back on Route 111, Twinkytatas is challenged by Ace Trainer Wilton.

Twinkytatas then comes across Aarune who teachs her how to find secret spots using TM94 Secret Power. He seems really creepy because he lures her up into a tree house all alone... Really makes us feel uncomfortable really.

We then take a break within an old ladies place to heal up and then challenge the Fairy Tale Girl Cece and Ace Trainer Brooke. Matt decides that he's taking too long so he's going to sprint through Route 113, which he then is stopped by Brandon who heals our party. Our rush is stopped by Youngster Neal who inspires a long discussion on cajun food.

After rushing through Route 113, Matt and Keith arrive at Fallarbor Town where the episode ends with a promise of buying Super Potions.
