Pokemon Alpha Sapphire is a 3ds remake of the Gameboy Advance title Pokemon Sapphire. Pokemon Alpha Sapphire uses the same game system as Pokemon X or Pokemon Y and belongs within the sixth generation of Pokemon games. The gameplay is a Role Playing Game (RPG) focused on building a party of Pokemon, or Pocket Monsters, that you catch and train to fight against other trainers. It is a turn based game where each Pokemon only has 4 available moves. The main goal of this game is to acquire all eight gym badges and defeat the elite four to become the Pokemon Champion of the Hoenn Region.

Theater 8 is recorded in OBS Studio using either the Elgato HD or the Elgato HD Pro. The silhouettes are recorded using a Logitech 920c web camera. All games are captured from the original game console with the exception of NES games captured with the AVS game system made by RetroUSB. Audio was recorded with a Rode Procaster and Shure SM48. All recordings were not held in front of a live studio audience.

#SPOILERS BELOW - Pokemon Alpha Sapphire Gameplay Notes#
Let's play Pokemon Alpha Sapphire! We begin in Fallarbor Town where Brandon interupts us to tell us Professor Cozmo had his meteorite stolen. Unimpressed, Matt goes to the Pokestop to buy Super Potions but splurges on Hyper Potions instead. Twinkytatas then heads towards Route 114 to rescue Professor Cozmo.

Matt is stopped by Poke Maniac Steve who wants to show off his Aron. Sneaking past a few more trainers, he is caught by Hiker Lucas.

Once at the Meteor Falls, we come across Brandon trying to rescue Professor Cozmo. We try to leave him to be beaten by Team Aqua but the story will not let us. Instead, we start a multibattle with a Team Aqua Grunt and Aqua Admin Shelly. After embarrassing Admin Shelly, Maxie arrives and introduces team Magma. The Aqua Grunt grabs the meteor and runs while he can while Team Magma chases.

We then travel back to Mauville City with Brandon. We then travel up to Mt. Chimney to fight Team Aqua. At the top of the Mountain, we fight Admin Shelly again and then challenge Archie.
