For Trophies/Achievements - Your main aim is to reach 200k points.
X is to shoot, Circle is to use a bomb, you start off with 3 bombs per life (Save the bombs for the bosses) and you have 3 lives per game. When you get Game Over there is a continue option but your score starts at 0 again so just restart the game.
Collect the weapon powerups from the enemies with a 'P' on top of them. The power up changes colour over time, collect them as they turn green as this is probably the best power up. (Red doesn't seem as powerful and Blue is Rockets) Collecting the same colour each time increases the strength of that power up.
Collect the points pick ups that are dropped from killed enemies, each pick up collected in succession increases the value. The increments are: 100, 200, 400, 500, 1000, then increments of 1000 up to 10k. Collecting a 10k pick up is needed for a trophy. The points are capped at 10k, be warned though, missing a power up, by letting it go off the bottom of the screen, will reset the points back to 100. Dying does not reset the increment.
