When it comes to crop food most of the options are pretty weak, the two main choices early to mid game are Mealwood and Mushrooms. The reasons are simple, dirt and slime are plentiful and have pretty much no other uses. All the other crop types requires water which is usually better put to use making more O2 to support more Dupes that you feed on dirt or slime. It's a bit embarrassing how short this video is considering the amount of crop options, but all the other crops really only become relevant late game. Long live ranching :)
