Boss 19 "Bourd" (J Only)

Some LL notes:
- Time Limit: None
- Specific condition for Truth End Path: None
- Battle will auto-end when Bourd's HP is around 24k or less.

Bourd is the first boss that shows that you must NOT rely on "Over Break" all the time:
- Has high offense & defense
- Insane Break gauge (about 2.5x the amount)
- Has "Deep Breath" passive skill (chance for physical attack to deal 0 damage), higher proc chances on high combo attacks.

There is a very cheap and common way to beat him via Overkill:
- Keep letting Bourd counter-kill a character and revive that character, then repeat. This will gain you massive SP so you can use EX-Skills to kick his ass. Take note that EX-Skills CAN miss from the "Deep Breath" ability.


Well LL won't use that way and show you the correct way to win without relying on that...

Some LL Battle notes:
- His Passive Skill is Physical Only, so use Magic.
- Use small hitting combo attacks to avoid "Deep Breath"
- Aim for "Down" damage instead

Aiming for "Over Break" is not a good idea since the gauge is 2.5x the normal amount compared to breaking his "Down" gauge, hence I use magic skills of Lily + Miu to drop his Down gauge tremendously.

Then I use Lyner (who lack skills since I never use him) and Yuto to break his Down Gauge cause a "Guard Break" which makes all damage deal 2x the amount from now on.

This allows me to easily get to OverKill without relying on "Over Break" to restore my AP to do even more attacks.


If your curious, it took me three attempts to figured out an overkill method (no game overs though):

[ Attempt #1 ]
I tried to go for OverBreak, stupid move. I had battle auto-end since I ran out of AP to attack with Bourd's Break Gauge about 50% remaining. Had lots of misses from his "Deep Breath" ability from using my usual combo tactics.

[ Attempt #2 ]
Again, tried to go for OverBreak.. but using Magic this time so no misses from "Deep Breath". Again, failed to even kill him but noticed his Down Gauge was almost gone while Break Gauge was still 60% remaining).

[ Attempt #3 ]
Obviously what I saw from the first two attempt I used to help me succeed!
