But one day the bright divine light dispelled the darkness, the bloodthirsty creatures disappeared, and the era of homo sapiens came. But the monsters did not disappear without a trace, they just hid in their holes, waiting for a convenient moment to regain control of the planet.
The game of Crusader of Centy occurs when monsters have grown bolder enough to get out in broad daylight, terrorizing local residents. You are assigned the role of a boy who decided to become a hero and put an end to evil creatures. But not everything is as banal as it seems. The game, despite its external childishness, touches on very serious topics. For example, here the fall of the Tower of Babel is defeated, questions of human tolerance and even the causal relationship between the act and the consequence. In general, it turned out very original, although, of course, do not wait, long advanced dialogues - the main character is classically him, and the NPC is limited to two or three phrases.
Gameplay: First of all, it is necessary to tell about the key feature of Crusader of Centy - about animals. The fact is that at the beginning of the game, the protagonist will have the ability to talk with animals, and also recruit them for help. Needless to say, each of them has its own peculiarities and possibilities. For example, the cheetah allows you to run fast, the penguin gives the sword properties of ice, the flying squirrel causes the sword to ricochet off walls, etc. Also, by combining two animals, one can gain an ability enhancement or even some new property. Naturally, all this is done for a reason. Competent use of the necessary animals is the basis of advancement in the game, which almost entirely consists of passing labyrinths, solving puzzles and riddles.
Locations are not too long and confusing. Only in some places will have to strain to pass on. An important role in their decision is played by the key ability of the hero - a sword throw. This method is actually acquired at the beginning of the game, and in the future, its use will have to be perfected to the ideal. After all, it serves not only as the basis for solving many puzzles, but also an important element in the battles with bosses. The latter, by the way, do not differ in complexity. In fact, all they need to do is figure out their tactics, or rather how and where to beat them, after which, it's a hat case. Bleed and equipment in the game there. You can only increase life energy by finding special golden apples, or by defeating bosses.
Graphics: Very good. Segovsky opportunities are fully involved, especially in pseudo 3D effects and the number of simultaneously displayed details on the screen, such as flowers, traces on the sand, etc. All locations are also made very colorful and with love. There is a whole standard JRPG'shny set: shady forests, deep caves, hot volcanoes, cold snows, endless deserts, etc.
Music: Excellent. Bright, catchy melodies. Of course, the soundtrack of Crusader of Centy can be considered, if not outstanding, it is very, very high-quality. Although it should be noted that if you are not a fan of cheerful, cheerful motives, then you are unlikely to get into it. But for the sake of justice, it is worth noting that a couple of serious (mostly ecclesiastical) tracks in the game are also available. However, the music here fits perfectly into what is happening on the screen. After all, Crusader of Centy - a game, especially humorous and funny, let and touch serious topics.
