Cryostasis Ending Explained:
"The final boss is Chronos, the god of time, by defeating him, he allows you to change the lead mechanic's actions, which devastated the captain, and convinced him to destroy the ship. The game is based on an old Russian story (the one you hear in bits and pieces) about druids who gave up their souls to the enemy rather than face death (like the ships crew, they and others who have died in the arctic are the "demons" you are facing). "
Cryostasis: Sleep of Reason Gameplay Walkthrough Part 24 with HD PC Gameplay by theRadBrad.
Cryostasis: Sleep of Reason is a psychological horror video game developed by Action Forms for Microsoft Windows. Cryostasis takes place in 1981 on the North Wind, a nuclear ice breaker which wrecked near the North Pole. The main character, Alexander Nesterov, is a Russian meteorologist who must investigate what happened onboard the ship. But he's not alone and the North Wind is now plagued by dead crewmen who have undergone a strange metamorphosis due to the effects of the very cold climate...
The game, being set in an arctic setting, uses body heat as a health meter. The player must use heat sources (such as lights or torches) to replenish health. It (when you replenish warmth) will also regenerate the energy so you can attack or run.
