While both Crysis 3 and Killzone Shadow fall are both very different games in terms of their looks, we can put them side by side to side to have an idea of how textures and models from the PS4 exclusive stack up against a high spec PC running the cryengine.
Crysis 3 is running on PC with all of their settings on the highest settings and at 1080P, with MSAA enabled. Killzone Shadow Fall is the demo build that has been seen many places before .
I've tried to be as 'fair' as possible in sections, wide open areas vs wide open areas and so forth, but because crysis is more jungle it's not strictly like for like. However, it does show off the textures of both games, and the overall lighting, quality of models, LOD (level of detail in the distance) and much more.
The PS4's Killzone Shadow Fall does look impressive to say the least - but Crysis 3 is certainly beautiful if you've a great PC.
