Year 5, First drop - Lynari Desert. In FFCC, Year 5 is the most important year where a lot of stuff happens. It kicks off with the Black Knight himself and more about Gurdy. The Jegon River has run dry due to a problem at the inaccessible Veo Lu Sluice, and so Tristan's boat is now in Port Tipa. He can take you to Leuda now, home of the Selkies who pickpocket you every conversation if you are not a Selkie. In the Lynari Desert, casting magic on curious objects that align with Gurdy's poems unlocks the Unknown Element, which grants access through every single miasma stream, including the one going to the final boss. Finally, Leuda is the final stop of the Princess of Alfitaria and Knocfelna; They appear here, and then after a drop of myrrh, exiting by land triggers a lengthy cutscene. Then, she returns to Alfitaria and you are massively rewarded.
