Crystal Dynamics says Marvel’s Avengers loading times on PS5 ‘are pretty much instant’

Marvel’s Avengers loading times on PlayStation 5 “are pretty much instant”, according to a Crystal Dynamics representative.

The PS5 and Xbox Series X|S versions of the game will be released on March 18 and the developers decided to showcase an event for the PS5 version on Twitch, where they showed off some of the improvements for the next-gen native update.

The stream mainly showcased the graphical improvements between current-gen and next-gen and the benefits of cross-gen matchmaking but within the Twitch chat, a Crystal Dynamics representative took part in a Q&A and discussed improved loading times.

They wrote: “Many loading screens on PS5 are pretty much instant. It’s VERY fast.”

The rep also stated that there are no plans to showcase the Xbox Series X version of the game before launch.

They added: “no plans to show Xbox Series X, but it’ll be pretty much the same from a visual perspective as PS5”.
