Crystar, out soon, comes to us from FuRyu in Japan, and Spike Chunsoft in the west. It's an action JRPG with a particular trick - it's all about crying as a gameplay mechanic. If that sounds different, it's because it is - Crystar is a very, very different game.
In this video I take a look at Crystar, and more broadly FuRyu as a company: at 12 years old, it hasn't been around as long as some of the others... and yet this company is doing things that deserve far more attention than they're getting.
