CS GO Basic Aim and Damage Guide
20,116I cover the basics of aiming, reloading, ammo conservation, health and armour.
To practice on an empty deathmatch server, click PLAY GAME, OFFLINE AGAINST BOTS, choose DEATHMATCH, select the map and choose not to play with bots. Result: 10 minutes alone to test out weapons! mp_roundtime 60 followed by mp_restartgame 1 will give you an hour if you need more.
For gun inaccuracy, load up an offline game (vs bots) and type sv_cheats 1; weapon_debug_spread_show 1
in the console to see a box of where your bullets could land. You'll soon learn how moving and jumping makes it worse, and just how much time it takes to return to accurate once you've stopped again.
