Ninjas in Pyjamas TV started 20th march 2013. NiPtv was handled by Anders "Anders" Blum, who now has his own project RoomOnFire, as many may know. Today we dust of the name NiPtv and start it up once again. We have for many months seen streaming for CS:GO grow and just a year ago 60,000 viewers was something we could only dream of in Counter-Strike: Global Offensive. Today CS:GO is one of the most popular games on twitch, the range of tournaments and viewers that engages in our beloved game just continue to increase. Not only tournaments are increasing, but we are also seeing the emergence of personalities in the streaming section that did not exist before.
We see a need for these personalities to be supported to grow in order to create competition in the market. Competition is good in many ways. To name a few, it forces you to capitalize on your Strengths and Weaknesses, it makes you work harder and smarter. Therefore, we have decided to dust off NiPtv and start it up once again. This time not with Anders "Anders" Blume, but with two personalities that you may already know from previous casting. These two are both from the UK and one derived from the CoD scene and the other has played and commented CS since 2003. Together, they become the perfect combo for both interesting and powerful games. Their names are Karam 'KYAN1TE' Kabbara och Matt 'Chewwy' Smith. So give these acclaimed casting talents a warm welcome to the NiP family. This is a big step forward in our endeavour, and we know that they'll take the NiP name to new hights, all while giving you a quality CS stream worthy of the name, along the way.
