CS:GO - Save/Load Positions
3,327This video explains how you can use two commands from the game to save/load your position on the map. Every map has different values but you can save these values and send them to a friend or publish them online, as long as you explain which map it is for.
getpos - Save Position
setpos - Load Position
Subtract with 50 on the Z axis (third group) to make it work with grenades etc. Example: 420.13371337 - 50 = 370.13371337
The value of "-50" is something that I've come up with myself and thought was a good value to accurately mirror a position that is saved with getpos. The player model is 72 units tall when standing if you're curious to know.
To clean your screen:
cl_drawhud 0 - Removes Hud + Crosshair
r_drawviewmodel 0 - Removes Viewmodel

Inside the csgo maps folder you can find camera angles that will help you cast a game. For example the file: de_dust2_cameras.txt contains all the important values for that map. You can therefor use spec_pos in the console to easily get the camera angle and spec_goto should move you there. Just a small tip.
