SK Gaming's core have turned their attention to Cloud9 member Jake 'Stewie2K' Yip, according to reports from DBLTAP and Flickshot.fr.
The move comes after the Brazilians were rebuffed in their pursuit of Na`Vi star duo Aleksandr 's1mple' Kostyliev and Egor 'flamie' Vasilyev, with the Ukrainian prodigy posting a message on social media explaining that this was "not the time to leave" the team.
According to DBLTAP and Flickshot.fr, if the deal goes ahead, Stewie2K will take Epitacio 'TACO' de Melo's spot on the roster, with Ricardo "boltz" Prass likely to keep his place despite previously being with one foot out the door.
Jacky "Stewie2K" Yip (born January 7, 1998) is an American professional Counter-Strike: Global Offensive player. He is widely regarded as one of the best players in North America, despite having only played CS:GO since the summer of 2014. On January 11th 2016, Stewie joined Cloud9. Although the initial announcement that Stewie would be joining Cloud9 was met with criticism from both professionals and the public, such as Thorin criticizing the decision, Stewie soon became known as one of the best players in Cloud9. He currently plays for Cloud9 as a rifler.
