CSU Wind Symphony Concert 10-3-2024
The Colorado State University Wind Symphony is back, performing works about historical events from around the world that catapulted conflict and controversy. Conducted by Dr. Rebecca Phillips, the program explores memories and emotions of these conflicts through the eyes of each composer, including pieces by Ostwald-winning composer John Mackey, Adolphus Hailstork (conducted by graduate student conductor James Mepham), William D. Revelli-winning composer James M. David, and Pulitzer Prize-winning composer Karel Husa and his epic work for band, Music for Prague 1968.
The performance was recorded by the RAMProductions student live event production team. RAMProductions was created by the Department of Journalism and Media Communication at Colorado State University with support from Campus Television (CTV), the College of Liberal Arts, and CSU External Relations.
