This is a very simple tip! You can just read the description if you want to skip the video:
The day/night cycle in Cube World is very long compared to most other games. If you are far from town when the sun goes down, you will suddenly find yourself in a pitch black wilderness, unable to see enemies outside the range of your lantern...even the map goes dark!
Create a second character in the same world as your main character, and leave them in town. When adventuring with your main character in far away lands and night falls, switch to your second character and go the the nearest inn. Talking to an innkeeper resets the time of day in the world back to 7:00 a.m. Now switch back to your main character. "Praise the sun!"
