Back to the Future, a fantastic science fiction fantasy films that told the story of Marty McFly and his ability to bend time at his will, predicted that the 2015 World Series Champions would be the Chicago Cubs. The Series would be clinched after sweeping the “Miami baseball team”, which we know cannot technically happen since they both play in the National League. Regardless, it begs the questions, will Back to the Future be right? It is almost impossible for it to be true, but the hiring of Joe Maddon is an amazing step forward for the Cubbies, and their plethora of young talent will make them a contender in the not too distant future.
