The Chicago Cubs fired their inhouse DJ after he played a song by Prodigy titled “Smack My Bitch Up”. The song of choice was relatively random, it arose controversy because of Chapman’s domestic violence history. Chapman, before being sent to the Chicago Cubs, was suspended 30 games after a domestic violence incident. He served the suspension on the New York Yankees.
