August 20th, 2016. Crescent Fort Rouge United Church. The wedding of Justina Joline Neepin to Michael George Cutler. As the fourth musical offering of the event, and as music during the signing of the marriage registry, this setting of E. Pauline Johnson's poem "Fire Flowers" was given.

The combined forces of Crescent Fort Rouge United Church choir and St. James' the Assiniboine Anglican Church choir under the direction of Nathan Poole, with four members of the Canadian Bacon wind quintet, performed this work, composed by Michael Cutler for the occasion of his wedding.
