a few things about it:
Unibody Construction: The bamboo layers are bonded together and CNC machined as one piece, making for a very strong and precise construction (see Making of Video here).
Genuine Sanwa Parts: Iconic Sanwa JLF joystick with OBSF-30B/24B buttons. These particular buttons have been chosen because they feature OMRON pin plunger microswitches as found on the JLF joystick so it gives the player a balanced "clicky" feel.
Column Switches: Instantly remap the button layout on the fly via the toggle switches.
Master Turbo: Switching this on allows rapid fire across Y B A L X & R buttons. The turbo speed control adjusts the rate of fire.
Custom Aluminum Parts: CNC machined from high quality 6061 billet aluminum. The aluminum dustwasher is mounted underneath the surface to stop scratching to the top that occurs on most arcade control panels/arcade sticks. The aluminum turbo speed control has deep grooves to add traction if you get sweaty hands.
Satin Finish: Smooth oiled hard-wax satin finish. Resistant to water & perspiration.
Shika Arcades Token: Solid brass token inlaid into surface. It is exactly the same diameter (22.6mm) as the 100 Yen coin synonymous with Japanese arcades. It shows the ancient "xiaozhuan" script for deer which later became the 鹿 (shika) kanji character.
Analogue Circuitry: The circuit is an analogue design (featuring individual relays for the Column Switch feature) and made in the UK.
Braided Cable: Thick red braided cable with end support to stop wear and tear to the joint.
Presentation Case: Matching handmade bamboo presentation case with foam insert.
