These LED signs are pretty cool, but they suffer from one major weakness: They have a ridiculously short cord. In this video I am adapting the electrical wire to better suit my needs.

Tools used:
Automatic Wire Stripper: https://amzn.to/2vTpjNS
Soldering Iron Kit: https://amzn.to/39RckuE
Heat Shrink Tubing: https://amzn.to/2umvR7p
Heat Gun: https://amzn.to/2T908P8
(This is not the gun I used in the video. I tried to find one that wasn't super expensive, but would still get the job done).
2 Conductor 20 AWG Cable: https://amzn.to/38RIXs6
(While these cables are not perfect for the use, they are rated for the use as electrical cables. Besides, they have a black sheathing, which helps blend them into the original cables from a distance).
(Buying anything from Amazon using these links will give me a very small commission, regardless of what you end up buying. You will still pay the exact same price, but some of that money would end up in my pocket instead of Jeff Bezos').
