Somewhere in mid-2006, two disgruntled Valve employees decided to write, build and publish their own Sam & Max-esque surreal "puzzleventure" game. It would feature several cascading storylines, multiple endings, fourth wall breaks, and a "lightning-strike" mechanic, which would occur randomly and send the player back to the start with "got lightning strike. Sorry" game over screen. The project fell into disrepair as the pair quarreled over the tone, philisophical underpinnings and the newly realized "Kermit" issue (Kermit is a licensed character, yet central to the entire story and so could not be removed). Today, little is known of the gameplay or legal status of the game, which was often referred to as "Bonecity" or "Stuck in A Room For Really Long Tiem"[sic]. I've put together the cutscenes I've been able to find.
