We take a look at the first 45 minutes or so of Cyber Shadow, the latest NES-inspired entry into Yacht Club Games' catalog—though, this one was headed up by Aarne “MekaSkull” Hunziker (aka Mechanical Head Games), with Yacht Club acting primarily as the publisher here. That said, this game has the same level of polish and true 8bit nostalgia that they first brought us with Shovel Knight, and it looks like Cyber Shadow is shaping up to be no exception.
If you're a fan of classic retro series like Ninja Gaiden, Castlevania, and/or Contra—or any modern retro games like The Messenger—you should definitely give this one a look!
