I was immediately intrigued when I first heard of Cyber Shadow and eagerly awaited its release. When I finally got the chance to play the game, I was not disappointed and really enjoyed my time with it. What really surprised me though was just how good the music is. This is going to be a strong contender for my favorite soundtrack this year, and now I'm automatically interested in any games that the composer Pentadrangle scores.

While Mekacity Ruins isn’t necessarily my favorite track in the game, this is probably the first one I heard that really stood out to me. I always got this kind of 80s training montage ‘Eye of the Tiger’ vibe from it, so I tried to tap into that while composing my solo. And I'm kinda glad this track was so heavy on the open E-string chugging. Honestly, there are few things more satisfying to me in music than a good heavy palm-muted chug, and I’m really happy with the sound I got for that here.

Anyway, I hope more people check out this awesome game and its music! The soundtrack is so awesome that I'm sure I'll revisit this game with more covers!
