It's time to start up some Cyber Knights: Flashpoint! In this alpha playthrough (where the playthrough is alpha but the game is in early access), we're going to try and feel our way through the game before full release. That means exploring the different, and constantly added, features and to see what kind of story building we can bring to the playthrough. This is definitely a work-in-progress on my end!
After a crazy mission last episode, we missed an important issue at the end, and the ramifications have now reared their head. A number of our mercs disappeared from our roster at the end, and although they seem to have come back to us, we find out that it was just a display issue. So with the merc roster being messed up, it's a save-breaking, so we'll be ending this run here.
However, we will be starting up a new save very soon! We'll be able to play with new class, Scourge, and the base building update will be here or right around the corner. There's so much new stuff being added and these kinds of issues happen, especially in older saves, so while I'm a bit disappointed, I'll take what I learned here and use it to make the next run better! And the crew here will be the base for the next crew as well, so maybe we can think of it as a new timeline?
