[Synopsis]

In this video, I play this game for about 40 minutes doing some gigs. Cyberpunk 2077 reminds me of a retro computer game I used to play in 1989 called Circuit's Edge. This was a adventure role-playing game released by Infocom in 1989, the format of this game was a dialogue based game which enabled you to navigate the city in first person mode. You had a lot of technological limitations back in the late 1980s, so the format of the game was very crude by today's standards.

The game requirements for this game is pretty steep, it does you require you to have a I7-4790K, but when I tested it on a I7-4790k the performance wasn't that good. It ran well on my I7-10700KF with a Geforce RTX 3060 12 GB on high settings. On medium settings, I was able to get more than 100 FPS, but I still prefer to play it on the higher settings, because it gives you a much better gaming experience. If you have a top of the line computer then you should run this game on ultra to get the best gaming experience possible.

The backdrop of Circuit's Edge was in a futuristic dystopian world, which humans were connected to machines and computers. It is kind of like this game. You had various types of chips you could buy, so you can speak and understand foreign languages which you needed in the game. You had chips that would enable you to be a martial arts expert, etc. In Cyberpunk 2077, you can get chips which would enable you to become a master swordsman, or enhance your mobility, like making you faster. You can get cybernetic implants to enable you to make you more resistant to damage, or increase your targeting abilities with ballistic weapons. You have to eat, and sleep in this game, like Circuit's Edge, and that added some realism to the game. You can interact with the people in the city by buying stuff from merchants, going to cafes, going to bars, going to restaurants, going to the doctor, etc. In this game, unlike Circuit's Edge, you can buy vehicles, and apartments. You can choose different gigs to make more eddies(money). Cyberpunk 2077 offers a more realistic experience.

The game play for this game is a first person shooter coupled with a driving game in a role-playing format. It is like Fallout 3, and Fallout 4 in that respect. In other respects, it is like the Watch Dog series or Mafia series where you can drive around the world and explore it. The game engine uses aspects of the Watch Dog, Assassin's Creed, and Mafia series allowing you to use vehicles to navigate in those simulated worlds.

You can play the story line, and finish the game with different endings. Circuit's Edge had only one ending, and that was a happy ending. In this game, you are going to die regardless of which ending you choose. The ending you pick will result in a change of world events in the game. If you choose a bad ending then the greedy corpos will get what they wanted. If you choose a good ending, the world becomes a little bit better as a result of your sacrifice. It is kind of like the ending you pick in Fallout 3, you can selflessly sacrifice your life for the betterment of humanity by going into the radiation filled chamber to start project purity. You can choose a bad ending by helping the Enclave by injecting the Evolutionary Virus in project purity.

All in all, the game engine was very good, and the game play was excellent. Being able to choose different paths in the game gave it more replay value. You can play side gigs, and explore Night City, and that gives it a lot of replay value as well.
