V and Jackie infiltrate the Maelstrom gang's hideout, which is located in an abandoned factory. The player has the option to approach the mission with stealth or aggression. Inside, they encounter the gang's leader, Royce. DeShawn's original plan was to negotiate with Royce, but things go south quickly as Royce becomes hostile.

During the confrontation, a firefight breaks out between V, Jackie, and the Maelstrom gang members. In the chaos, the two manage to kill Royce and retrieve the Flathead's control shard, a crucial component needed to operate the robot. They also discover that the Militech corporation has an interest in the technology.

After securing the control shard, V and Jackie escape from the factory, dealing with more Maelstrom gang members on the way out.
