Here is the same recording of a bus ride on D-dot's 2001 NovaBus RTS 82VN bus #3787 departing the Rosa Parks Transit Center and begins operating on route 31 Mack to Eastland Mall.

Engine: Detroit Diesel Series 50 EGR
Transmission: Allison VR-731 automatic

Please note that this coach #3787 is the ONLY RTS bus that has recieved the Allison VR-731 transmission; the rest of the 2001-2002 RTS buses have the ZF transmissions. It either came with it when it was built or it formely had the ZF-2 6HP-592C transmission.
