Here is a short video on D-dot's 2005 New Flyer D40LF bus no.#4212 operating on Route#16 Dexter to Downtown Detroit. These bus had replaced the 1992's and the 1993's New Flyer D40HF buses(3000-3199) with the 6V92TA and the V731 3 speed auto transmission in august of 2005. This bus including the 4100 series is powered with the Cummins ISL engine with the Allison B400R 5 speed auto transmission. The 2004's 3900-3989 series has the Detroit Diesel Series 50 engine and the Allision B400R 5 speed auto transmission. Enjoy!
