Yo GC here reviewing D4GG3R’s H4 M3 from Omn1science and Revenge.

The intro in this starts off catching the eye with a closeup of the man the myth the legend, D3GG4R himself, then goes into a more standard intro sequence segments, and finishes with some totally gorgeous 3d text, which is hard to really pull off without being cheesy these days, so kudos on that.

The first song is from revenge and it’s great to see something so aggressive from him. The small effects throughout the song kept a real nice consistent theme through the song and allowed him to do larger effects later when the footage and the song warranted it. The clip editing is definitely the strongest part of this video though. I actually started shouting at the screen on my first watch over one single really smart cut he did, so that really impressed me.

Going into the second song, omn1science really impresses with some highly detailed 3d work before kicking absolute ass with the pace. The one effect that transitioned between different forms for a good 4 seconds is so impressive given that it actually worked really well. Angle usage was clever and didn’t seem to be removing continuity from the gameplay, which is really all you can ask for in a fast edit that bothers with effects to be honest.

In the last song, there was an interesting departure from the earlier parts, using nohud and some minimal editing for medals and reticle. This made halo 4 much easier to watch and allowed the song and effects to shine better given that the clutter wasn’t occupying the eye. The first outro angle was gorgeous and credits proceeded as normal

I liked this a lot and it’s a really fun, easy to watch, and absolutely nasty video from the gameplay to the editing. Gameplay was impressive throughout with a stick killionaire and the last clip of the video. Fantastic stuff guys.
