Is Buick back? This is the question I asked myself after a week of driving the 2024 Buick Envista. But back from what? We all know Dads love to reminisce and think of yesteryear when THE game was tied, and we were down by three. Or when gas used to cost $.99. Or when TGIF was the ultimate TV viewing experience. Like that 50-year-old having a whiskey telling his stories at the bar, Buick likes to look back as well. The oldest American automotive brand, which essentially started General Motors, was their version of the all-star QB back in the '50s.
That was a time when they held everyone's gaze, but since then, Buick has fallen way behind...until now. The company created a totally new 2024 Buick Envista to raise expectations and lower their average consumer age by about 50 years. With a fully decorated model coming in under $30,000, it's a value proposition with style, tech, and (low end) torque that will have people asking, "Is Buick back?"
