Black Ops 6 introduces a multiplayer component alongside its cooperative round-based Zombies mode. The multiplayer lineup boasts sixteen entirely new maps at launch, while also reviving several features from past Call of Duty titles, including the "Prestige" leveling system. The Zombies mode features two brand-new maps at launch, seamlessly continuing the storyline from where it ended in Black Ops Cold War. In all three modes, players can enjoy the benefits of omnidirectional movement mechanics, enabling them to sprint, dive, and slide in any direction.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is set to be released in 2024, marking its place as the twenty-first game in the iconic Call of Duty series. Developed by Treyarch in collaboration with Raven Software and published by Activision, it stands as the seventh main entry in the Black Ops sub-series, building upon the success of its predecessor, Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War (2020). The game is set against the backdrop of 1991, immersing players in a single-player narrative that follows rogue operatives Troy Marshall and Frank Woods as they assemble a team of agents. Their mission? To dismantle Pantheon, a covert organization that has infiltrated the Central Intelligence Agency and has labeled anyone who opposes them as traitors to the United States.
