Mario Kart Wii is a racing video game developed and published by Nintendo for the Wii. It is the sixth installment in the Mario Kart series and was released worldwide in April 2008.
Like its previous installments, Mario Kart Wii incorporates playable characters from the Mario series, who participate in kart races on 32 different race tracks using specialized items to hinder opponents or gain advantages. The game features multiple single-player and multiplayer game modes including a four-person split screen. Online multiplayer was supported until the discontinuation of Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection in May 2014. Mario Kart Wii uses the Wii Remote's motion-sensing to provide intuitive and conventional steering controls; each copy of the game is bundled with the Wii Wheel accessory to augment this feature.
『マリオカートWii』（マリオカートウィー、MARIO KART Wii）は、任天堂より発売されたWii専用ゲームソフト。
今作は、各コースのベストレコードやグランプリの成績などの記録を「ライセンス」という形で、1台のWii本体に最大4つまで保存できる。はじめに使用するライセンスを選んだ後、以下の4種類のゲームモードからプレイしたいモードを選ぶ。なお、ゲーム中の成績は選択したライセンスに自動的に保存されていく。
《마리오 카트 Wii》(영어: Mario Kart Wii)는 닌텐도에서 개발한 Wii용 게임 소프트웨어이다. 마리오 카트 시리즈의 여섯번째 작품이며, 일본에서 2008년 4월 10일 먼저 발매했으며, 대한민국에서는 2009년 4월 30일에 발매되었다. 대한민국에서는 김범, 김창완, 박미선이 광고모델을 하였다. 처음에는 경량급, 중량급, 무제한급 모두 4가지씩 12명의 캐릭터만 선택할 수 있으나 게임을 진행해 가면서 나머지 12명이 추가되어 경량급, 중량급, 무제한급 모두 8가지씩 24명의 캐릭터를 선택할 수 있게 된다. 레이싱 코스는 마리오 카트 Wii에서 처음 소개된 니트로 코스 16개와 이전의 시리즈에서 등장하였던 레트로 코스 16개, 모두 32개로 구성되어 있다.
