Daizo's Journey (Cancelled Build) - W4-4 - The Furious Flood! (+ Noahna Village)
32024 revealed the release of "Daizo's Journey ~ Chapter 1: To Rise Above All" and a few people were curious what will happen to the original Daizo's Journey build I started back at around 2011/2012. So I'm releasing videos of what is now going to be known as the "Cancelled Build" which I'll release as a hack at some point in the future. This will document every single finished level I made.
(We're now playing in the actual Cancelled Build that was released during C3.)
Two VERY work in progress levels, the second of which the gimmick of the second half was programmed by @Mellonpizza (which isn't just the water mechanic, but also the fact it's a seamless [pre-LM3] level transition). Noahna Village is supposed to be a mandatory HUB area where you had to do sidequests and stuff, but then Desmond gets flooded and you must get to Bowser's Doomship to restore the island.
Plan for the future -
Noahna Village will be the primary area you revisit in Chapter 2, which is the whole reason this world alone is being adapted into it's own game. As for Furious Flood, that'll be the penultimate level.
