Alyssa in Life is Strange is one of those side characters which is useless to the main game but you can save. There doesnt seem to be a reason to save her or leave her to get hurt except for the satisfaction that you just saved the dummy. As Max I don't like to reverse time for every little event in the game. Alyssa's events were always kind of cool to see because it was usually the game world interacting with the back of her head but does suck when they were being a bully to her, situational awareness is pretty important though...
