5A band of fallen paladins, Chaos warriors of great power, have begun gathering armies to bolster the forces of Chaos as they prepare the Resurrection of Darkness. The lands surrounding the Bastion are too dangerous and well protected to send a massive force, but you will be sent into the Bastion via magical spell. Your goal is simple, the destruction of the 4 Lords of Chaos. But, the gods of Light are with you, bring down the hammer of justice upon these dark forces and you will be rewarded greatly.

In this ongoing 14 part series, we reboot the original 14 quests of Games Workshop/Milton Bradley's fantastic board game HeroQuest using 5th edition D&D and gorgeous maps by Heroic Maps. A slightly more cohesive story thread follows the adventures of Sir Ragnar, retired champion of the empire and his elite squad of adventurers as they fight against the forces of chaos that threaten to drown out the world of light with their darkness. Designed to be connected but self-contained one-shots the series allows players to drop in and out as schedule permits allowing for a revolving cast of players and characters.
