Europe's tech event of the year is opening soon in Berlin, and China's Dangbei has revealed an IFA 2023 debut of a new Full HD laser projector called the Atom - the first to work with Google TV.
Full details are still forthcoming, but we do know that the projection engine is powered by a single ALPD laser light source that is reported to emit 1200 ISO lumens, the international standard that Epson uses to determine white brightness.
Dangbei says users can expect up to 180 diagonal inches of 1080p “cinematic” blur-free visuals, with support for HDR10 and HLG content. The Atom should also be relatively easy to set up, thanks to autofocus assisted by ToF and vision sensors, automatic keystone correction, a feature that will automatically resize the case to fit an open screen, and another that will resize, to get around the obstacles.
We'll have to wait for full specs and pricing to be released, but the IFA 2023 reveal is just around the corner, so the wait will be short. The tech show starts on September 1st at Messe Berlin, and Dangbei's booth will be located in Hall 20.
