This talk presents a lively romp through a wide array of research topics I have worked on in the last few years. Ill speak about: image editing, including image resizing and recolouring; algebraic topology and its (mis)uses in computer vision, particularly for segmentation; fancy-pants features which mimic deep learning architectures; and 3D sensing. The talk will be at a high level, in an effort to keep listeners captivated, or at least awake. Theorem proofs and autographs will be available upon request after the talk.
