3I recently learned that Danmakai has a funny anti-piracy mode that buffs the game's difficulty.
The first three stages start out fine then it gets more unhinged in the latter half, you get this extra enemy firing additional patterns, and also between stages you start having to play this card matching game. I think some patterns are also buffed, or at least have more HP.
