Dapol FEA-B Maersk Intermodal Twin Wagon Set Pack "Both Variants" (OO Gauge) Review HD
This is a review of the newly released OO Gauge Dapol FEAB twin Intermodal Wagon Packs with the Maersk Containers which the reference numbers are 4D-044-001 and 4D-044-002. Both wagon sets are modelled on the Freightliner versions of these FEAB wagons and the attention to detail on this new rolling stock is superb. However there is no metal sprung buffers and they are not painted into black. But I will fix this later on, performance is excellent in terms of handling and they do look great when both sets are coupled together in unison. On the test train shown later in this video, I used my Hornby Class 67 to haul these wagons and added my two Hornby KFA wagons at the back to add weight as this would test the durability of the semi-permanent "bar" couplers under load as these Dapol FEAB wagons are designed to be run in "pairs" as per the real life wagons. I would highly recommend these wagon packs if you model the modern era in OO gauge as these wagons would look great behind a Class 90, Class 66 or even a Class 67 locomotive.
Overall Rating: 10/10.
