Every Original Mode bossfight from the arcade game DARIUSBURST: Another Chronicle EX without any damage taken. Played through the arcade-perfect port available with all copies and installations of DARIUSBURST: Chronicle Saviours on Steam and PS4. Switch users may opt to play through DARIUSBURST: Another Chronicle EX+, as Chronicle Saviours is only available on that platform as a standalone experience (via CS Core).

The Gaiden Silver Hawk model is used for all fights except where specified. Notes are provided for specific bosses.

Some recording issues were present, so there may be stuttering in a couple of the fights. Hopefully this isn't a huge dealbreaker for any of you.

-- NOTES --

ANCIENT BARRAGE: Genesis Silver Hawk is used in this battle. The drones soaking up damage makes it easier to survive some of his more troublesome attacks, not to mention its Alpha Beam allows for utter devastation if you can hit a counter correctly. Otherwise, Gaiden is still better overall due to greater firepower scaling and a stronger Burst in general circumstances.

PHANTOM CASTLE: Probably the hardest midgame boss in Original Mode. Its seeking lasers in the second phase make the fight incredibly difficult and frustrating to beat no damage. I would have used Legend or Next to circumvent the homing lasers issue entirely, but Gaiden allows me to skip most of the first phase, which can be quite brutal if it goes on for too long.

VIOLENT RULER: If you're a normal person, it's easier to use Legend or Next here and just turret away your perils. Other than that, I am aware I get hit in the clip, but that's before the boss actually starts so it doesn't count.

THOUSAND KNIVES: There is a way to cheese this boss; if I recall correctly, you can go behind TK after the first couple of attacks then turn and keep firing. It'll never be able to hit you since it doesn't occupy or attack the right edge of the screen again in the entire fight. I decided not to use this trick out of honour.

DARK HELIOS: You can definitely beat this no damage with Gaiden, I just used Assault since its Spark serves the same purpose as what I was using Gaiden's BHB for (clearing bullets) and can be used more often since it's a partial charge rather than a full charge. You could also definitely do this with Legend or Next by planting a turret to nullify most of DH's attacks, but it's a bit cumbersome and I didn't really feel like I should do that.

GREAT THING: I would have used Gaiden for this fight, but I doubt it's even possible to beat the fight no damage using Gaiden. Not that anything is physically impossible, but that it's ridiculously difficult and the fish phases in particular are almost impossible to do nohit without some way of blocking out the bullets. If you use Gaiden's BHB to clear out the fish, you won't have it for other problem attacks, and it just becomes really infuriating. I didn't really want to use the turret strategy, but I don't think I had any other choices. I also changed my sound settings before this fight, so if it sounds louder (particularly the BGM), that's why.
