Dungeons and Dragons: Dark Alliance is a Third-Person Action-RPG video game developed and published by Tuque Games. It is the third game in the Dark Alliance series, itself based on the Dungeons and Dragons system, and is a spiritual successor to Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance and Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance II. Dungeons and Dragons: Dark Alliance is slated for release on PC and consoles around fall 2020, before being postponed to 2021
In March 2019, Tuque Games announced that it was developing a game on the Dungeons and Dragons universe in partnership with Wizards of the Coast. Wizards of the Coast then acquired Tuque Games in October 2019
Dungeons and Dragons: Dark Alliance was officially announced with a trailer presented during the Game Awards 2019 on December 12, 2019.The story is set in the tundra region of Icewind Dale and will feature characters from the new series by RA Salvatore, The Legend of Drizzt. Thus, we will find among the four playable characters Drizzt Do'Urden, Cattie-Brie, Bruenor Battlehammer and Wulfgar. The game will include single player and multiplayer modes. In single player mode, the player can choose one of four characters to control and switch between them. The multiplayer mode will allow local split-screen co-op or online co-op for up to four players.
