Whoever said "Magic is Easy Mode" hasn't tried the Black Knight Halberd. The BKH is one of the most overpowered early game weapons in Dark Souls (especially when you get it up to +4 right after killing the first few bosses).

I'm not good enough to speedrun Dark Souls 1 yet (I am decent at speedrunning DS2 though). This "quick run" will be at a faster pace and somewhat less editing than some of my other playthroughs. However, I will be killing all bosses with the Black Knight Halberd.

This build uses 18 dexterity and 27 strength (40 STR if you're using it one handed). It also uses Ring of Favor of protection (FAP Ring) and Lingering Dragoncrest Ring for Power Within or Havel's Ring.

The Black Knight Halberd (as well as the other Black Knight Weapons) is one of the best early game weapons for Dark Souls 1. It's even used in Any% speedruns (rather than magic).
